Gala Evening
In celebration of Ten Years of supporting those
who feed our hungry
The community is invited to celebrate the work of the Food Source at the organization's first-ever gala evening on Saturday, June 2, 2012, at the Victoria Park Armoury. The meal will be catered by longtime Food Source supporters Buttertarts 'n' More, with music by Terri Crawford and the Retro Rockets.
"The 10th anniversary is a great time to show how proud we are of the work done by our staff and volunteers," says Roberta Sommerville. "We're not celebrating hunger, or having a fancy dinner at others' expense. We're inviting the community to join with us in appreciation of a decade of community service."
